Shakeela

Shakeela, originally from Pakistan, is studying English and is planning to start her nursing degree next year. She first got involved through the Global Stitch up and is now part of Her Business Journey. In 2024, she became part of the Cultural Conversations team. Her care and eye for details show when she is at Cultural Conversations. The sewing space is her happy place, Shakeela has taught herself how to sew with Youtube videos and is now an accomplished seamstress. She does make sure that everything is tidy and ready for others to use.  We are so lucky to have her as part of the team with her skillset and care for Nexus, our space.
