Her Business Journey
This registry is a safe and accessible platform to connect clients and entrepreneurs. They are women coming from other parts of the world, bringing to Whakatū/Nelson their precious skills and knowledge.
We invite wāhine from Non Western and BIPOC communities to co create a Business Directory.

How does it work?
When you access an offering, Cultural Conversations takes a 10% (capped at $40) commission and 90% goes to the wāhine . The commission allows us to maintain the platform and have a support person available for the women on the registry and the one wanting to join it. What the support can look like:
Being present when meeting the client
Communication support
Translation
Support with tax and invoices
Offering a safe space for the service
The platform keeps our wāhine safe and supported — and clients too, with secure payments and refunds if needed. It’s all about manaaki: backing BIPOC wāhine to step into mainstream spaces with confidence and authenticity.
If you are interested in any of their offerings please GET IN TOUCH, we would love to hear from you!
