Prasangie Kamburawala

I'm Prasangie Kamburawala, a Sri Lankan-born, fully qualified hair stylist based in Nelson with almost 18 years of experience in the hair industry. My journey began in Dubai before I returned to Sri Lanka, where I owned and operated my own hair salon. Looking for new opportunities, I moved to New Zealand, living in Auckland for two years, then Hamilton for three years, before settling in Nelson four years ago. Nelson is now the place I proudly call home. I love the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at Cultural Conversations. It’s a wonderful space to connect with people, celebrate different cultures, and share the beauty of Sri Lankan traditions.
