About the event
Should sarees and South Asian clothes stay in cupboards? You are all invited to join us on Upper Trafalgar Street for a joyful explosion of culture, creativity and community on Saturday 24 October
The big Spring Party will be a vibrant and fun-filled day with live performances including circus, music, dancing, roving artists and witty interactive audience experiences.
At 2 p.m. at 1903 Stage there will be a 5 minute dance performance. After that around 2.10 p.m. we will see how many sarees / salwars we can get on stage and the dancers will lead us with some moves.
Around 2.20 p.m. we will make our way to the Museum where there will be a photo shoot on the Stairs up to the exhibition - we would love you all to come to that.
The dance group will then perform again inside the gallery.
