Sri Lankan Traditional Dance & Fusion Dance

We are Nilusha Bandara and Rukmali Jayasinghe, Sri Lankan dancers who are deeply passionate about keeping our cultural heritage alive through traditional and fusion dance. Our roots are in the vibrant traditions of Kandyan and low-country styles, which carry centuries of history, rhythm, and storytelling. At the same time, we enjoy exploring new ways to connect tradition with the present, blending classical forms with creative modern elements.
For us, dance is more than performance. We are also teachers and cultural guides, sharing the techniques, stories, and spirit of Sri Lankan dance with people who are curious to learn. Through workshops, classes, and collaborative projects, we welcome learners of all ages and backgrounds. Our dream is to inspire appreciation for Sri Lankan culture, build connections across communities, and ensure these beautiful traditions continue to thrive.
We invite you to join us on this journey of movement, culture, and creativity.
